You're music is awesome.

Thanks man, I'm glad you like my songs, but in all honesty, I would rather you comment on this massive list that I compiled, as I hope that it was useful to you as an artist.

Thanks a lot for these info. I'll check it out. :)

No problem, the list was easy to compile because I use these soundfonts and programs all the time. I hope they'll be as helpful to you as they were to me :D

This post makes me happy. :-)

This comment on this post makes me happy. :-)

Haha seriously though, glad you appreciate it!

Nice list :)

Thanks, I hope it was as helpful as it was long hahaha

Awesome list - all of this stuff is pretty useful, especially the Papelmedia stuff.

One thing that might also go in the list is Yellow Tools Independence Free, it's about 2GB and is pretty light on orchestral sounds but it's good for misc sounds that might be useful for time to time in orchestral stuff. I think danman87 uses it.

I'll be checking that out now, along with a few other vsts and fonts that I put on hold for a bit. I'll add it to the list if it turns out to be helpful, but I already have a feeling that it will if Danman87 found a use for it.

A simple thank you is in order for this so thank you.... PM me with what state and city you live in.. i can help you to get better software

Sending the PM now....

I wanted to tell you of an amazing song, but I reached my pm limit for the day. So I'm telling you about it here instead.

This, just wow man. Enjoy, I know you will love it.

-Gravey-

There's a PM limit? I didn't even know that lol

Just left a review, too. His song has a LOT of potential, just falls short in some areas.

Yea, it's gay. I couldn't send pm's for like half a day.

As for the song, I personally think he is the best at incorporating experimental stuff into a classical style here on NG's. I've listened to so much of his stuff, and it is so different than anyone else's music. Most classical stuff on here is more of the soundtrack genre, such as yourself. So it's nice to listen to what weird stuff he comes up with.

So when are you gonna post your next soundtrack masterpiece?! ;-)

-Gravey-

Hahaha working on it now ;)

Great list you have here. There's some I use and some I haven't looked into. I'll be doing that now. :P

Glad I could help, always glad to see that someone benefitted from this list :D

Thanks for the list! :) Btw, {B.A.B.} Revolution X is, by far, the best song I've ever heard on NG. It's just EPIC. Are you a descendant of Mozart?

Haha who knows, Mozart could have had a thing for black women. They say that once you go black, you never go back XD

I'm glad that you love that song, but I'm pretty sure that there's better songs in the AP, I can guarantee it.

And to all those who are wondering where I've been all week, I've been busy as hell. Sorry....

Whats up Matt? How's it been goin?

Workin hard, workin hard hahaha

You know I hate the polyphony of Miroslav Philharmonic, even set it in mono the sounds are still so shit. Edirol Orchestra is better.

Hey dud, I need some free sound samples or free VST of guitars and electric guitar sound realistic. I also need flute VST too. I can't always depend on Ministry of Rock and EWQLSiver. Those take a lot of CPU load spaces.
Thanks.

Idk, I find the miroslav sounds pretty useful personally, but that's just me hahaha

The Squidfont soundfont has it's own flute with it. Other soundfonts I use that have a flute include Sinfonia (sinfon36), florestan woodwinds, and the papelmedia flute (good for expressive legato).

I haven't had any luck with guitars, but I haven't had a dire need for them yet, so I'll start my search for them when the time comes, and I'll post the results here on my newspage of course ;-)

Hey, you're still working on our Po3 game right? You haven't responded to any PMs for quite a while.

Ignore/delete these last two comments of mine.

This list is awesome.

But all that time spent finding the synths, learning how to use them etc etc etc, You could have got a job at macdonalds, earnt like 20 bucks, and bought edirol orchestra lol.

But then again, I think if you used edirol, it would be too easy and your music wouldn't be so hard worked. Also You can really manipulate the sound when you use all those synths.

Keep up the l33t work. Lol DSK rocks! Is it just me or does DSK key really lag, or maybe i installed it wrong. Meh

:d" Peaceout

Most of this stuff is stuff I came across during my year and a half of composing. I didn't really put too much effort into it.

And is it a coincidence that I already have a job at mcdonalds? hahahahaha

Also, Edirol costs about 100. I definitely would have bought it if it only cost 20, but 100 is out of my price range, especially with school and everything.

And yes, DSK does lag. I'm considering downloading synthedit, opening DSK via synthedit, and stealing the samples from the programs. (As far as I know, all DSK vsts were made in synthedit, so synthedit should have access to them.)

Personally, I try to keep my sample library as broad as possible, so I have as much flexibility as possible when choosing the right sample for the right section.
